Catch Up: C25K & Weddings

 I thought I'd catch you guys up on what I've been doing this week.

**I went to my cousin's wedding Saturday. It was simple, but beautiful.
 My dad and I sang a song called Holding Hands. I had a lot of fun
 seeing my family.

**Yesterday, before church, I burnt my arm on the edge of an iron.
  It hurt! I had to bring an ice pack to church.

**I am hoping to do Cross Country for my school next year. I am
  going to do training this summer starting June 19th. I'm already
  running with my mom. We're going through the couch to 5K
  program. I cried today at week 3. Let's just say our neighborhood
  has a lot of hills.:)

**We are going to a cookout at my mom's mom's house today. I'm
   looking forward to swimming, playing with my cousins, and spending
   time with family.

**I am SO ready to be out of school!!! Just 3 and a half more days!!

Celebrities

 Have you ever wanted to be a celebrity? I sure have. I was thinking about
it recently when I watched a movie. What makes them so special?

The dictionary definition of celebrity is: 'A person who is widely known and usually
much talked about.' Mine is: 'A regular person who has been made famous by regular
people.'

 The term "VIP" means, of course, Very Important Person. What makes them so
important?


For there is no respect of persons with God. Romans 2:11

God doesn't have favorite people. He loves everyone equally. So, celebrities are no
more special than you are.

A Fun, Full Friday

   Yesterday, well, let's just say we had a ball!

   First we went to Field Day at our school. First 1st through 5th grade
met in the gym. We had a lot of fun dancing to upbeat praise music!

   Then my P.E. teacher, Mrs. Hartman, explained her bike accident
that happened last weekend. She was in the biking part of a half Iron Man.
(I'm just telling bits and pieces.) A car was coming her way and she barely
missed it. She went into a ditch and flipped 2 times on her bike and 1 time off.
She's very lucky to be alive.

   A couple days ago, Mrs.Hartman got a call from someone saying that her son
was in a car accident with some friends. A tree broke the window on the passenger's
side and came through it. A bunch of stitches were applied, but no one got severely
hurt.

  Please pray for the Hartmans! They need it!

  Then we went up to the field. We had everything from face painting to water guns.
Awesome!

  After school we swam with some friends at their apartment pool. We had a blast
playing with water guns, racing, and just swimming.

  We were on our way home from the pool when my mom asked if we wanted to
stop at my grandparents' and swim with our cousins. So we stopped and
played with our cousins and ate dinner.

   Cheers to a fun, full, wet Friday!

Mothers Day-My Mom

 First of all, Happy Mothers Day!

 I am so thankful to have a Godly, beautiful, loving mother.
So I am going to do this post about her.

  Most of you have read my mom's blog, Raising Future Esthers. (That's why my blog is named 'Esther in Training'.) Well, I'm going to do my version of the post she did today.

           As Mother's Day is coming up, I think about my mom and if she is proud of me after all the
         things I do. OF COURSE SHE IS!! But (like Mom's post) do you ever have doubt that you
         just aren't good enough?

        But I am so thankful to have a family who cares about my every.single.need.!
       My parents think I'm beautiful and my sister thinks I'm a superstar. See?

        God picked me to be the great daughter I am. I am nothing less.
